A
native Californian, Susan Parker discovered cowboy poetry in 2003
while attending the Monterey Cowboy Poetry and Music Festival. Since
that fortuitous day, she has been writing and performing her own Western
poetry, reciting the classics, and studying the works of pioneering
women of the West. Her passion for these stories from the past is
exhibited in the intensity of her performance. Susan gathers inspiration
for her poetry while riding and volunteering at the Wild Horse Sanctuary
in Shingletown, California. |
